The IHE NA Connectathon will continue to build on its reputation as the premier testing venue for standards-based interoperability in 2018. Join 500+ health IT engineers on-site in Cleveland, Ohio as competitors collaborate to test, re-test, and de-bug vendor implementations of IHE Profiles and other world-class standards. IHE’s rigorous testing process allows competing vendors to identify system code errors, improve test specifications and product capabilities in minutes while advancing patient care.
IHE USA will again host the second annual Plug-a-thon at the IHE NA Connectathon 2018 including the Devices on FHIR® and mHealth Plug-a-thon from 2017, plus more. Each Plug-a-thon track is intended to unite different health IT realms in their exploratory stage of connectivity, to raise awareness of potential standards that can be leveraged and provide a unique opportunity to test connectivity on a deeper technical level. In 2018, IHE USA is working to raise the bar at these events by including “real world” clinical data for the mHealth Plug-a-thon and Devices on FHIR tracks.
