The IVD Industry Connectivity Consortium NFP is collaborating with Deloitte in conducting a pilot for the FDA SHIELD (Systemic Harmonization and Interoperability Enhancement for Laboratories) initiative, which includes an investigation on the use of LIVD by clinical laboratories. IICC is reaching out to see if IVD manufacturers can provide full LIVD catalogs for their instruments, or at least LOINC codes that they have established for their tests.
