Hartfield, VA / San Clemente, CA – Thursday, February 11, 2016 // The Board of the IVD Industry Connectivity Consortium (IICC) nominated and elected Serge Jonnaert as its President, effective Feb 10, 2016. We overcame a tremendous amount of inertia to develop a modern standard, build excitement in the laboratory community, and convince nearly all of the top manufacturers to implement the standard in their products. I look forward to watching as these products reach the market and realize the industry productivity gains we envisioned long ago.” said Eric. Outgoing President Eric Olson also vacates his board seat.

Serge Jonnaert expressed his gratitude to Eric for being the driving force and for his immeasurable contribution as President of the IICC. “Under Eric’s stewardship we not only developed a contemporary standard that will have a tremendous impact in the IVD space, he also brought key industry representatives to the table to work together in a manner that will remain a model for future initiatives.” Jonnaert added.
